Gypsy Cats is named after a family of feral cats (mother and kittens) that I adopted many years ago. A dormant tet, this cultivar has blooms of 7-8 inches on 29-inch scapes with three- to five-way branching. Bud counts range from 12-29. Gypsy Cats blooms midseason. The flower is a reddish purple with a blue purple watermark and a white edge showing some teeth and claws. The throat is green. A fast multiplier, Gypsy Cats is pod and pollen fertile. I didn't think it was a rebloomer, but last season several fans did rebloom. (Trimmer seedling "Laughing Hyena" x Back Scratcher)
